Do you think that you have found a meteorite?
Important advices If you are thinking, that you have found a stone or a clump of iron, which you suspect to be meteoritic material, then you can notice the ERFM via E-mail. Please send only reports to us, which contain at least these statements:
1. Location of find - specifiy coordinates or state, county and name of the place 2. Time of find - date, time and weather details 3. Please send pictures of the find, where it was still resting as "meteorite" in the landscape. 4. Please take pictures of the object from all sites at adequate daylight illumination. 5. Does the object react to a megnet? 6. What is the dimesion and the weight of the object? . Of course you may talk in detail about facts, how did you found and about further details of your suspect. Please send us only pictures in the JPEG file format. we would promptly get in touch with you via E-mail and we are trying to estimate your discoverd find.
